            kleancolor chubky holo purple is a great polish, its has a light lilac translucent base with medium translucent glitters, this polish is perfect for layering, or wearing it alone, i used it over a gel mani, and just love the way it came out, so here are a few more pics of this color

glitter and gel nails

so today i wanted to show you  some of my glitter and gel nail art,  its a simple idea. You can make all kinds of nail art with glitter, Glitter is such a fun thing to use on your nails, in the past i have show you other ways to use glitter in nails, such as sprinkling it on and applying top coat, or placing it one piece of glitter on the nail at a time to make a design.  Today i wanted to show you what kind of fun you can have with glitter and gel,
this give you the look of glitter in cased in glass,

  

this look can be be done at home with any gel manicure set, you ill need a led light,  you can get one from Walmart, cvs, or off line, the one i use is the fuse led light, a mini one .  https://fuse.sensationail.com/  

the gel i use is in a bottle, just like nail polish, you can buy other gels that are not in bottles but are in little round containers, they work as well, some even come with glitter in them

so to start you really want to fine the glitter mix, or single glitter you like, 

then get all your supply's  together , apply the gel base coat and sure , then apply one layer of gel polish cure , the next layer apply the polish when its wet apply  the glitter on top, then sure again, 

and the apply gel top coat and cure for the last time

mardi gras nail polish, - hot pink iridescent glitter polish

this is a very pretty polish, its a sheer polish with iridescent glitters in it , hot pink base, the only issue i had with this polish is that it is kinda thick, i added a little polish thinner and it was fine, so here are some picks of this polish 

china glaze blue sparrow

so this is china glaze blue sparrow, what a wonderful blue color, i picked this up at a local store for  5.99 i feel in love with it right away, the blue with the glitter in the bottle made my eyes pop, and i had to have,
so this is a neon blue polish with blue micro glitter in it. the polish was a bit thin but that was ok, i applied 2 coats,  i think it was well with the 5.99 and i do love this polish,

MDJ Creations nail polish

today on our blog we have a few indie polishes, from MDJ creations,
 they are so pretty,
so here they are

 this is such a pretty green/yellow holo polish, application was easy, dry time was great, and i just love this color.

Intelligent design- is another holo polish, -

this is a grey colored polish,  the holo in it is amazing,  application was easy i applied 2 coats in this photo, it dried really fast, just a very pretty polish, 

bored is not in my vocabulary-  this is a glitter topper. it has tiny square gold holo glitter, and pink tiny dot holo glitter,  there was no fishing for glitters with this polish, i applied one coat,  dried  fast,  its another great polish from this indie maker,  

and this being the last of the polishes is 

The king's riches  this is a amazing blue and gold glitter topper, 

little matte light blue glitters, bright blue micro glitter, dark matte blue hex glitter and gold  hex glitter,  along with larger holo gold dot glitters, this is my fav polish topper at the moment, this polish  sparkles in the sun light. its just wonderful

the devil wears polish, 3-cpo holographic gold polish

the devil wears polish c-3po is amazing color, i have to admit its my fave color out of all my polishes
this is a gold holographic  polish,  this polish comes in mini and full size bottles, the application of this polish was great its very smooth,  i applied 2 coats of  c-3po and a top coat, to get this amazing effect with this polish,  the shipping form this company was fast, it was packaged great, and arrived on time, this is a great polish.

adding some holo- TKB Franken Polish: Magic Holographic Nail Polish

                                         well i love holographic polish, its one  of my fav polishes to wear,
                                i have made a few of them, i order from tkb often, its one of the best places to order if your interested in making nail polish. so i was wounding if i would add there holo pigment to any polish.
my husband had gotten me an extra bottle of the amazonian (a dark hunter green) sinful colors gel tech polish, i was like oh man then i thought this might be a good time to try this,

 so i took 

this  very pretty green and added some the tkb holo pigment to the bottle 

added a little  silver ball ( shaking ball) and have the bottle a good shake,

fimo- whats fimo? fimo nail art

What is fimo?  I get asked this question a lot, so i wanted to do a short blog on it,
 fimo is a clay rolled into very small sticks. these sticks are then cut up in to small slices,
each one is different, once cut they can be applied to the nail with nail glue or just placed in wet polish.
some people put them in glitter mixes, fimo also can be placed in gel that needs to cure in uv or led,
you can order fimo in slices or in sticks, there are many places to order them.
 so here is a few pics showing how to cut fimo and place on the nail with just wet polish,

so you need to take your razor blade and slice the fimo in to thin slices 

pardon my fuzzy fingers it just cotton but here is a good slice of the fimo 

then you need to apply a topcoat to your nail 

then place your fimo on the nail in the wet topcoat, if the fimo starts to curl or bend  use a pair of tweezers or a toothpick and hold it down on the nail for a min 

 then apply top coat again , and let dry  

this is  what it should look like, 

fimo can be used for many thing other then just nail art , if you would like to order fimo  check out ebay,
