This is a jelly blue with iridescent glitters in it . 

Wet in wild was one of the first brand I had ever tried. I think my first wet and wild nail polish i had gotten when i was around 12 years of age. This bottle I have had for a long time, its really a very pretty jelly polish. The bottle is 1 fl oz. 

I believe this bottle is from around 2013 but not sure.  I used 2 coats of this polish, 1 topcoat and allowed to dry . 

T this point i placed some decals on my fingers and  another  top coat.  hope you enjoy this post

When I was first getting in to nail polish at a young age. Walmart used to carry this line of polish. I only have this one left. however it was one of my fav color. 

This item came out in the mid 90's. the formula has held up over the years.its a creamy formula. I have found that the chrome colors are a lot thicker then the other polishes in this brand. If you were like me as a tween you watched full house and loved the Olson twins. who played Michelle Tanner. As time moved a long the twins grew up and came out with all kinds of merchandise from movies to makeup. Walmart from my understanding was the first to carry there line of products. They has lip balms, eyeliner, blush and of course nail polish. If i remember correctly  the cost of the polish back them was around 3.00 a bottle. The bottle caps changed from the the silver chrome caps to a plastic long cap. As time went along Walmart stopped carrying the line of makeup and the Olson twins moved on to make other items. 

 This polish is over 10 years old and as you can see still works great. 

the dry time for this polish is under 5 min. The blue chrome polish is extremely shiny compared to other chrome polish over the years. This is still one of my fav chromes. This is a 14ml bottle. The smell of this polish is not as strong as some polish. it has a long brush for easy application. I applied 2 coats of polish with no top coat. I did try to apply top coat but like many other chrome polishes it dulled the chrome down and looked horrible, causing me to start over again. so no top coat needed for this polish.

                                     This is a 0.27 fl oz or 8 ml  bottle. This polish is made in France
                      boy next door is a cobalt blue polish with a little shimmer in it.
                    I applied 2 coats, then top coat.

This polish dried in about 3 min between coats. 

application was smooth. i had no issues. 

i cohice to hand paint a mermaid on my index finger to give my mani a little someting

This polish is a dark grey color with a shift of purple/green. I honestly was not sure if i would like it at all, but once it was dry, I feel in love with it. it drys matte grey and in the sun light you can see just a little bit of the shifting shimmer,  they dry time was pretty normal about 3 min. This polish is free  from Toluene, Formaldehyde & DBP Free.   bottom line is this is a great nail polish. and worthy the 2.99 price at Walgreens .,

The ascent nail i use the loaded lacquer in the color Z  , z is a jelly green polish that is just amazing and on top of it i use sinful color cute cadet,

As i was looking for the new sinful colors at my local Walgreen, my husband came over and told me there is an end cap with new nail polish, so i walked over and took a look.
I found a collection  of neon polish, with a white base coat. Normally i dont bother with white nail polish of any kind. But i thought maybe i should get this since i have a ton of neon colors that really do need a white base. maybe this will work better then just normal white nail polish. so i grabbed  it.  I also grabbed a neon lime green color called charged lime.
 later that night i sat down to paint my nails. I looked at the white base coat and still was not sure about this item. i applied one coat. it looked ok, not too bad. i waited about 30 to 40 seconds. and applied another coat. ( i hate waiting for nail polish to dry) surprisingly after about a min or 2 it felt dry.

ya i was defiantly not taking my time on this one. 

once this was dry. it looked ok for a base coat,. I then applied a coat of charged lime. 

it was so thin.  I really did not think it was going to look good when i go done. 

once  it was dry  I applied another coat,and still it was not bright. so i applied 2 more coats allowing each coat to dry before applying another,  after 4 coats it looks pretty good. 

over all i like the color. the polish did dry faster then most, This brand is distributed by Walgreen's , I could not find anything else out about this polish, 

The one strange thing i can say is that this polish has no ingredient list on it, i did find a display photo from some one on instagram

                  I had never used hard candy nail polish, this was the first time. i had seen them in the store just never got any. i did love the packing on this this, the box was shiny gold, 

so the set included 4 nail polishes and nail file. The colors did not have any names on the bottles.

i started with the first one, the pink bottle, the formula was very thin. when i applied it to my nails it looked more like a shimmer polish with a pink tint in it. this is 2 coats 

i then went on and used the purple one, this also was a thin formula, i applied 3 coats and some stamping polish

I went on to use the green this formula was a little thicker i applied 2 coats and again some stamping polish,

 
I then went on to use the blue, this formula was again a little thicker then the first 2.

  then i used the black, this has glitter in it , so the formulas was pretty thick

 the black was was pretty but i could see that it did not go on even, so i added some nail art  and it looked amazing. 

over all this set was ok, not he best in my option.

nail stamping

Nail stamping is something that a lot of people have been getting in to for the last few years. 

There are several company's that make stamping polish.  Some people  also use just plain nail polish. 

Doing this allows people to make beautiful nail art  with out a lot of work.  There are all kinds of stamping plates and stampers. stamping has hit the nail industry hard, people just love it. 

some of the stamping kits i can recall off the top of my head are konad, moyou , salon express. The first time i had heard of stamping i was about 16. it was an as seen on tv kit. I had to have it.  but that was the last kit i saw till i was in my 30's and then it was the salon express kit, it comes with one stamper,4 plates and scarper, the plates for this kit are not that great. They  seem to not be etched properly and the stamper is hard to use.  also this kit  does not come with stamping polish. 

this was probably the cheapest kit i own, many stamping supply's you can buy separately. Such as the plates, or stampers them self. you can also get different plates, from designs with just a little picture  such as a hearts to ones with a full picture that covers the entire nail. you can get all kinds of stamping items for designing your nails. 

One of the big items that a lot of people buy is whats called stamping polish, there are several different types, 

konad, mdu, born pretty has come out with one, hit polish, moyou, and so many others. 

stamping is pretty simple.  the basic idea is that you place stamping polish on the stamping plate, scrap it off with the scraper and push the round/ square stamper on to the paint to pic up the image. 

stamping can be a little hard at first, but a lot of fun in the end. 

you can find stamping videos on you tube and there are groups on Facebook. many girls enjoy doing this type of nail art. its simple and makes your nails look beautiful, the creativity with this can be amazing.  there are many different stamping tools to use. there are hard stampers, squishy stampers and even clear stampers. its really all about what you like to use. i even found another blog on how to make your own stampers, its really cool you might want to try it.

stamping polish is the same way, there are many types. from highly pigmented ones that  go over black and other dark colors to almost transparent colors for white and light colors. and yes you can make your own stamping polish if you want too. to make your own stamping polish you need- 

1- 15ml bottle empty

about 14ml of polish base, what ever base you like best. 

5 to 6 grams of pigment, and  one shaker ball, 

mix these items in the 15 ml bottle and it should work well, it will be very thick. 

i made one and it worked well

So the other night i had to go out for some chips and dip. this is what brought me to dollar general,
realizing they brought out more Christmas stuff i had to take look. so my little adventure down the isle of Christmas stuff made me stop right in from of the makeup, all i could see were these 4 little snowmen looking at me saying " take us home. so in my cart they went.
 

  I could not resit buying them, I mean who could. there shiny little top hats, and orange noses. just so cute. At home i took them out of the package, looking at them thinking these look a lot like the princess nail polish bottles i have.

Hopeing they were not kid polish.(Since i was so excited and did not look originally)

thank goodness they are not kid polish, however they do smell different then normal nail polish.

They are on the thicker side.

the red is a shimmery polish, i had no issues with applying it, and it seemed to dry pretty fast. 

Then i used the glitter polish over the red, the polish was thick and hard to work with, 

next i used the white polish, this polish has shimmery iridescent look to it, to my surprise it covers fully in 2 coats and this was not hard to work with at all, dry time was the same as the red,

 

and the last one was the purple. i have to say this one was kinda thick, and took longer to dry then the others. however it is the best color in the set of polish. its another shimmer polish however it has such a deep purple to it, i just love it.

wet and wild- fantasy makers bloody Mary

bloody mary

 so today i have wet and wild fantasy makers nail polish in bloody Mary red. 

I picked this polish up at cvs. it was with all the Halloween items,

 I have so much fun looking at the new mask's, wigs and other funny Halloween items. This polish is a blood red cream  polish, in the photo above it looks much brighter, here is a photo with out the flash on

I don't usually wear red nail polish. but this one had such a cute bottle I had to get it, my index finger. has a no name polish made  by the indie brand brand the devil wears polish, 

its a red jelly polish, with small and large black dots, black tiny tinsel, red small square glitters and large round red glitters,

This is one of my favorite polishes from the devil wears polish,. so i hope you like the red polish i had for you.
